The 13th annual Student Research and Creativity Celebration will take place Thursday, April 28–Saturday, April 30.

This year’s celebration includes more than 270 presentations and features performances (music, theater, and dance), visual arts, talks, posters, and demonstrations. The full program, with a schedule of activities and abstracts, is now available at www.buffalostate.edu/undergraduateresearch.

President Aaron Podolefsky and Provost Dennis Ponton will host the opening reception from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Friday in E. H. Butler Library. Research papers and poster sessions will be presented Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Butler Library, while demonstrations, performances, and artistic events will take place across campus.

Oral presentations will be divided by academic groupings into six sessions throughout the day. Seven hour-long poster sessions, each with a diverse representation of disciplines, will take place concurrently with the oral presentations.

This year’s Student Research and Creativity Celebration program is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Horace (Hank) Mann.

Unless otherwise noted, all events are free and open to the public.
