The Buffalo State Food and Thought Luncheon Series continues with lunch and a tour of the Buffalo State College Maritime Center, on Friday, November 7, 2008, at 12:00 p.m. The Maritime Center is located at 901 Furhmann Boulevard in Buffalo and transportation is being provided (if needed).

Enjoy lunch surrounded by historic watercraft including the to-be-restored Canadiana pilot house. The Center is also home to the college's academic boat building classes and it has a wonderful view too! Casual attire and comfortable shoes are recommended for this fun and informative gathering.

The $20 cost per person includes lunch by Golden Parachute, a memento, and a $5.00 donation to the Center which is supported by private gifts. Ship out to this gathering by bus from Buffalo State or pilot yourself there. Meet the bus in the Lot M1 corner of Grant and Letchworth Streets at 11:30 a.m. If you drive there on your own, you'll find plenty of parking at the Center.
