The Alumni Association will host a reunion and networking session on Friday, October 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Roofers Union in Washington, D.C. Members of the Alumni Affairs Office and the Communication Department will be in attendance to discuss updates to Buffalo State’s initiatives, campus, and programs.
The Alumni Association organizes regional networking events to reconnect alumni, and to provide them chance to share their Bengal memories. Buffalo State has approximately 1,200 alums living and working in the D.C. area, including Evelyn S. Lieberman, ’66, Director of communications and external affairs, Smithsonian Institution; Kenneth Papaj, B.A. ’73, former commissioner of the Treasury Department’s Financial Management Service; and Congressman Brian Higgins, ’85 (when he’s not in Buffalo!).
The cost of $15 per person and pre-registration is requested. Online registration for this event closes at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Thursday, October 9.
