Alumnus Jim Robbins, author and frequent contributor to the science section of the New York Times, published his fourth book this year. The Man Who Planted Trees: Lost Groves, Champion Trees, and an Urgent Plan to Save the Planet has a four-star rating on Amazon. Robbins writes, “Planting trees may be the single most important ecotechnology that we have to put the broken pieces of our planet back together.”
According to the Niagara Gazette, Robbins grew up in the Love Canal neighborhood in Niagara Falls.
