Buffalo State freshman goaltender Shannon Anesetti (Cannonsburg, PA/Caron-McMillan) made 55 saves as Buffalo State tied RIT, 1-1, tonight in Rochester.

Despite outshooting the Bengals 56-13, RIT was only able to put one goal past Anesetti, scoring with just two second remaining in the opening period. Buffalo State scored the equalizer early in the third period, when Jamie Overbeck (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) tallied a power play goal with assists from Amanda Uschold (Rochester/Brighton) and Jen Trees (Clear Lake, IA/Clear Lake).

Buffalo State is now 2-2-1 and will open its ECAC West schedule this weekend at Plattsburgh.
