The Anne Frank Project 2010 Gets Underway with Call for Proposals and Performers
With planning now underway for The Anne Frank Project 2010, students, faculty, and the community are invited to submit proposals by April 9 for performances and presentations that celebrate the life and wisdom of Anne Frank and her words, “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.”
Special consideration will be given to proposals which display originality, creativity, and a departure from typical academic conference presentations. The conference will reserve part of the schedule for student proposals, which will not compete with faculty and community submissions.
Based on the success of last year, the conference has been expanded to three days, Sept. 15 to 17, and will connect with First-Year Orientation, Weeks of Welcome, and Academic Convocation. In 2009, more than 1,000 presenters, students, faculty, and guests participated in the standing-room-only conference.
