The Buffalo State College Alumni Association's 7th annual Bengal 5K Run and Fun Walk will be held Saturday, March 27, 2004, on the school's campus. Proceeds from this event benefit the Alumni Association's Legacy Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is offered to a deserving student who is a child or grandchild of a Buffalo State graduate.

The Bengal 5K is a family-oriented program, with more than 400 runners and walkers expected. Following the run/walk, everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy great food and beverages at the Alumni Association's post-race Bengal Brunch. All registered participants will receive a long-sleeved T-shirt and be eligible to win door prizes. Concluding the event, an award ceremony will be held to recognize top finishers in a variety of age groups and categories.

Join faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the college, and help raise scholarship dollars for deserving students.
