The Office of College and Community Partnerships and the Buffalo State College Alumni Association are collecting toiletry items for the Asarese Youth Center. The items will be placed in 2008 holiday bags and distributed to the 100 children who attend the center. Many of these youth live in poverty and often do not have items that we take for granted like shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, lotion, combs, soap, etc.

In addition, gently used warm clothing (clean and in good condition only) is also encouraged, specifically baby clothing, for a Holiday Clothing Drive that will be taking place on Saturday, December 6, 2008, from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Help make the holidays a little better for these struggling families.
