WOMEN'S HOCKEY (4-11-1, 2-3-1) Buffalo State Drops Two in Illinois

Buffalo State traveled to Illinois last weekend for a pair of games against the Lake Forest College Foresters. Buffalo State was defeated in both games.

Mary Keddie (Willamsville/Bufalo Bisons) made 57 saves on Friday night for the Bengals, in the 3-0 loss.

On Saturday, Buffalo State took a 1-0 lead on a goal scored by Carolyn Totaro (Rome/North Country CC). Emma Wadsworth (Arlington, VA/Reston Raiders) was credited with the assist on Buffalo State's lone goal of the weekend. Despite having the early lead, Buffalo State was defeated 2-1. Buffalo State is now 4-11-1 overall, and 2-3-1 in ECAC West play.

Who's Next?

Buffalo State will not play a game until after the holiday break, when they host Elmira for a pair of games on Feb.1 & 2 at the Buffalo State Ice Arena.





WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (1-2, 0-0) Buffalo State Drops Non-Conference Game

Buffalo State traveled to St. John Fisher on Tuesday night, and were defeated by the Cardinals, 75-69.

Abby Kochan (Newport/West Canada) led the Bengals with 23 points. Tiffany Ciolek (Great Valley/Salamanca) chipped in 12 points for the Bengals, while Monique Hanks (Liverpool/Liverpool) tallied 11 points and 7 boards in the loss. Buffalo State is now 1-2 overall, and have yet to play a SUNYAC game.

Who's Next?

Buffalo State will travel to Medaille College on Tuesday night, before hitting the road again next weekend, to play back to back SUNYAC games, in Oneonta on Friday, and New Paltz on Saturday.
