Brockport Rallies Past Women's Basketball, 65-49
BROCKPORT, NY--Brockport (7-6/3-2) held Buffalo State (5-10/2-4) to just 18 points in the second half in a 65-49 victory tonight in a SUNYAC game in Tuttle North Gymnasium.
The Bengals held a lead for much of the opening half before Brockport took a 33-31 advantage at the intermission. The Golden Eagles then dominated the second half, outscoring Buffalo State 32-18 and holding the Bengals to 29.6-percent shooting from the field.
Darnika Moseley (Liverpool/Liverpool) led Buffalo State with 14 points. Shareese Hamer (Erie, PA/Strong Vincent) had 10 points and eight rebounds, and Desi Gibson (Rochester/Edison Tech) also scored 10.
Ashley Broadhurst led the Golden Eagles with 18 points, 12 boards and seven assists.
Buffalo State will host Potsdam tomorrow at 2 p.m.
