Buffalo State College Foundation Names New Directors

Jay Hennig, vice president and general manager of Moog, Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of the Buffalo State College Foundation. Hennig, who is a 1982 graduate of the college, was elected at the foundation’s June 24 annual meeting.

Also at that meeting, the following received 2002-03 Chairman’s Recognition Awards:

Brigitte V. Kallen, a 1956 Buffalo State College graduate, for creativity, enthusiasm and inspired volunteerism in her support of the Buffalo State College Alumni Association;

Dr. and Mrs. Bernard B. Yormak, for their outstanding support of Buffalo State College in establishing a generous charitable gift annuity; and,

Jim Brandys, who received a bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State in 1971 and a master’s in 1973, for exemplary leadership of, and support for, the development efforts of the Buffalo State College Foundation, including the “Endowing the Future” planned giving initiative.

Bengamin Zuffranieri, chair of the foundation and a 1980 graduate of the college, received the 2002-03 Board Recognition Award for his outstanding leadership of the Buffalo State College Board of Directors and guiding the foundation’s transition from a membership to a trustee organization.
