Buffalo State College will honor more than 800 students at its 2003 Honors Convocation, to be held Thursday, Apr. 24, at 12:15 p.m. in Rockwell Hall Auditorium on the Elmwood Avenue campus.

The event, which honors those students who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or more after the completion of at least 45 credit hours, marks the kickoff of the final phase of the college's academic year, which culminates with the conferring of degrees at commencement ceremonies on May 10.

A procession - with faculty in full academic regalia - will precede the convocation; a reception will follow.
