Buffalo State Hosts WNY Clay Olympics

Students from four Western New York high schools will compete in the 11th annual Western New York Clay Olympics hosted by Buffalo State College’s ceramics program on Thursday, May 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in Upton Hall 128.

Some 35 students, working individually and in teams, will compete in Olympic-style, timed events using clay and various clay forming methods. The overall team point winner will receive a trophy created by last year's winner.
