Buffalo State Wins $283,909 Department of Education Grant
Buffalo State College has won a four-year, $283,909 Department of Education "Talent Search" grant.
The funding, which represents an increase of $53,825 over the current level, will allow Buffalo State to continue tutorial services, academic counseling and mentoring opportunites for low-income, first-generation college students.
The goal of the Talent Search program is to increase the college retention and graduation rates of its participants and facilitate the process of transition from one level of higher education to the next.
