Buffalo State’s Corti, Kiliszek Earn Soccer All-Conference Honors
FREDONIA, NY—Buffalo State’s Dan Corti (Amawalk/Somers) and Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) were both recognized as Third Team All-Conference selections today as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its soccer all-star teams today.
Corti, a junior goalkeeper, helped backstop the Bengals to an 8-6-4 overall record and an appearance in the SUNYAC playoffs. The business administration major played every game, posting a 1.01 goals against average, a .839 save percentage and had four shutouts.
Kiliszek made an instant impact with the women’s team as a freshman, leading the squad with 11 goals and 25 points in 18 games. The Bengals finished the season 7-11. A criminal justice major, she will also play guard on the Bengals’ women’s basketball team.
