Buffalo State’s Hicks, Hordge Capture Indoor Track & Field All-America Honors

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—Mario Hicks (Corning/Corning West) and Willie Hordge (Buffalo/Forestbrook TX) each earned All-America status today at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at Rose-Hullman Institute of Technology.

Hicks equaled a school record in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 7.49 seconds and took second place in the event. Kenddrick Gibbons of Lincoln University won the championship in 7.37 seconds.

Hordge finished tied for fourth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.39 seconds. Eddie Bynum of Salem State won the final in 6.33 seconds.

Buffalo State will kick off its outdoor track & field season at Winthrop University (SC) on March 31, and will stay south to compete at Duke University (NC) on April 7.
