Buffalo State's Hordge Cruises to NCAA Finals in 100-Meter Dash

OSHKOSH, WI--Buffalo State junior Willie Hordge (Buffalo/Forestbrook TX) raced to the front of the pack in his event for the second consecutive day, advancing to tomorrow's finals in the 100-meter dash with the top time of the day at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

A day after recording the top qualifying time in the 200-meter dash, Hordge duplicated the feat in the 100-meter dash, posting a time of 10.40.

Hordge will run for a pair of national championships tomorrow. The 100-meter race is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and the 200-meter is slated for 3:35 p.m. CST. Freshman Tenisha Jones (Rochester/Wilson Magnet) will also be competing in tomorrow's triple jump competition.
