Buffalo State's Rammacher Earns Softball Academic Honors
Buffalo State's Heidi Rammacher (Angola/Lakeshore) was voted to the 2003 Verizon Academic All-District Softball Team. The junior rightfielder earned the honor for combining excellence on the field and in the classroom.
A secondary math education major, Rammacher has a cumulative grade point average of 3.59. In her second full season on the field, she led the Bengals in nearly every offensive category including boasting a .372 batting average. She also belted eight homeruns, tallied 38 RBI, and posted a .667 slugging percentage.
Rammacher helped the Bengals to a 25-15 overall record and was also named to the All-SUNYAC Team, the All-SUNYAC All-Academic Team, and the SUNYAC Commissioner's List.
