Buffalo State's Uschold Named ECAC West Women's Hockey Player of the Week
Buffalo State's Amanda Uschold (Rochester/Brighton) was named the ECAC West Women's Hockey player of the Week after leading the Bengals to a 2-0 win over Cortland on Sunday.
Uschold, a senior philosophy major, celebrated her final home game by scoring both goals in a 2-0 victory over conference-foe Cortland. She finally broke the scoreless-tie with just 3:50 remaining and then scored added an empty-netter to seal the win.
Uschold and the Bengals will close out the 2005-06 season this weekend with a two-game set at Chatham.
