The Burchfield-Penney Art Center is pleased to announce the 2005 Artful Table series which includes 19 unique events and all proceeds benefit the museum. The Artful Table series brings together extraordinary artists, remarkable chefs and wonderful hosts. Each of these celebrations will take place on selected dates in and around Western New York.

A DELISH! COOKING PARTY
Roll up your sleeves, throw on an apron and get ready to have fun at Buffalo’s hottest new culinary experience! Chef Debbie Clark, owner of Delish!, will share her epicurean recipes and guide participants in the preparation of an array of savory appetizers. Guests will be divided into culinary teams to create the dishes that will then be shared with the whole group. When the cooking is completed, everyone will relax and enjoy the fruits of their labors while listening to upbeat music and sipping glasses of fine wine.

When Dirt Becomes Your Artistic Palette: Bearing no resemblance to the movie or Broadway play but a fitting name for the centerpiece freeform pond in this award winning artful garden. Background music seems to follow the mood as you stroll through Gordon’s various themed gardens while enjoying a selection of wines and cocktails. Enjoy casual hors d’oeuvres followed by a main course of seasonal menu items prepared with fresh garden herbs and other garden edibles. Fresh grilled foods will also be offered.
