Celebrity Chef Mai Pham to Visit Buffalo State
Celebrity chef Mai Pham will visit Buffalo State on Thursday, April 8. She will present a cooking demonstration and sampling in the Retail Food Court at noon.
A world-renowned Thai and Vietnamese chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author, Pham will share her passion and culinary talent with students, faculty, and staff.
Chef/owner of the nationally acclaimed Lemon Grass Restaurant and Lemon Grass Asian Grill and Noodle Bar in California; food columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle; and host of the Food Network special "My Country, My Kitchen: Vietnam;" Pham is a recipient of the International Association of Culinary Professionals Bert Greene Award for excellence in food journalism.
A frequent guest chef instructor at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), she also teaches Southeast Asian flavors throughout the U.S. and leads culinary tours to Southeast Asia on behalf of the CIA.
