Chinese Folk Art: Painted Clay Toys, Thursday, April 16
Hongyu Song from the Capital Normal University (CNU) in Beijing will present a lecture on Chinese folk art, Thursday, April 16, at 12:15 p.m. in Upton Hall 211.
Students and faculty from the CNU have been very active at Buffalo State in recent years. In October 2007, a traveling CNU student show, EXCHANGE: Capital Normal Show, was exhibited in Upton Hall. That same month, CNU professors visited the college to lecture and observe classroom instruction in the design and fine arts programs.
Professor Song's discussion on Chinese folk art represents the continuation of Buffalo State's unique partnership with CNU.
All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
