Buffalo State's Mary Cohen (Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer) was named the ECAC West Women's Hockey Player of the Week today for her efforts in the Bengals' final weekend of the season.

The freshman defenseman helped lead the Bengals to a pair of wins over Chatham. Cohen, a business major, had three goals and an assist in two games. She scored a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win, and added two goals in a 6-0 victory.

Buffalo State finished the season 5-13-1 overall and 2-10 in conference play.
