Cross Country Ends Season at NCAA Regionals

BRONX, NY--Buffalo State's cross country teams wrapped up the 2007 season today, competing at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional at Van Cortlandt Park, hosted by New York University. Both teams ran incomplete, with just two men and two women in the lineup.

Margaret Hughes (Elmira/Elmira Free Academy) was the top Bengal finisher overall, placing 52nd of 255 runners, completing the 6K course in 23.49. Jen Bernard (Hyde Park/FD Roosevelt) finished 149th with a time of 25:51.8.

On the men’s side, Kyle Fenner (N. Syracuse/Cicero-N. Syracuse) was the first to cross for Buffalo State, finishing 133rd of 271, navigating the 8K course in 27:42.8. Nate Culver (Chemung/Waverly) added a 150th-place showing in 28:09.3.
