Cross Country Finishes Season at NCAA Regionals

Buffalo State wrapped up its 2003 cross country season at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals today at Geneseo, as the men finished 23rd of 30 teams and the women placed 19th of 30.

AJ Walsh (Hamburg/Frontier) led the Bengals on the men's side as he placed 33rd of 217 runners with a time of 26:18. Matt Kubiak (Lakeview/Frontier) was the second Bengal to finish, placing 110th with a time of 27:46.

On the women's side, Aleksandra Halin (Clarence/Clarence) was the top scorer, finishing 51st of 206 athletes with a time of 24:55. Jennifer Vacanti (Niagara Falls/Niagara-Wheatfield) was the second fasted Bengal, placing 82nd with a time of 25:38.
