Cross Country Runner Aleksandra Halter
Women's cross country runner Aleksandra Halter (Clarence/Clarence) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The senior French major led the Bengals to a team championship at the Hobart/William Smith Invitational in Geneva, NY on Saturday, placing first of 50 runners. Halter finished the 6K course in 23:44, 40 seconds faster than the next closest competitor. The team victory was the first for Buffalo State since 2002.
Halter and the Bengals will compete at the St. Lawrence Invitational this Saturday.
