Cross Country Runs Cortland Double Dip Challenge
Buffalo State's men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Cortland Double Dip Challenge this morning.
On the men's side, AJ Walsh (Hamburg/Frontier) was the top male finisher in the 8K race, finishing second of 57 runners with a time of 27:08. Matt Kubiak (Lakeview/Frontier) was the top Bengal finisher in the 4K race, placing ninth of 32 runners in 13:52.
Aleksandra Halin (Clarence/Clarence) led the women's team, placing third of 12 runners in the 8K race with a time of 35:02. Jennifer Vacanti (Niagara Falls/Niagara Wheatfield) led Buffalo State in the 4K, placing 22nd of 51 athletes clocking 17:05.
Buffalo State will compete at the Geneseo Invitational next Saturday.
