Distinguished Poet Vijay Seshadri, November 12

Buffalo State is pleased to welcome award-winning poet Vijay Seshadri on Wednesday, November 12, at noon in E. H. Butler Library 210.

A former editor at the New Yorker magazine, Seshadri has been an essayist and book reviewer for the em>New Yorker, the New York Times Book Review, the Threepenny Review, the American Scholar, and various literary quarterlies. His collections of poetry include Wild Kingdom (1996) and The Long Meadow (2004), winner of the Academy of American Poets’ James Laughlin Award.

This event is sponsored by the English Department, Just Buffalo Literary Center, and the School of Arts and Humanities.
