Edwards, Marin, Coleman and Niles Earn All-America Honors at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

OSHKOSH, WI—Latoya D. Edwards (Brooklyn/ Clara Barton) captured two All-America honors, once as an individual and another as a relay participant, today at the 2008 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Edwards finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.03 and just missed All-American status in the 100-meter race by placing ninth in 12.11.

The 4x100-meter relay team of Katya Marin (Mt. Vernon/ Mt. Vernon), Edwards, Chenell Coleman (Buffalo/ McKinley) and Anika Niles (Brooklyn/ Samuel J. Tilden) also claimed All-America distinction by finishing fifth with a new school record time of 47.19.
