Final Fuddy Meers Performances

Casting Hall Productions' presentation of the manic comedy Fuddy Meers continues October 21-23 at Warren Enters Theatre in Upton Hall.

The first play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, Fuddy Meers made its off-Broadway debut in 1999. Upon opening, the play quickly earned rave reviews and praise for its author as a "comic genius."

Focusing on the kidnapping of Claire, an amnesiac, and featuring such characters as a lady cop with a chip on her shoulder and an escaped convict/ventriloquist with a foul-mouthed puppet, Fuddy Meers' madhouse plot celebrates mayhem all the way through its unexpected conclusion.

Directed by Joseph Price, associate professor of theater, performances take place Thursday, October 21, and Friday, October 22, at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 23, at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 faculty/staff/seniors, $6 students. For more information or to purchase tickets, call (716)-878-3005, visit www.buffalostate.edu/theater, or stop by the Rockwell Hall Box Office.
