Hobart Defeats Men's Hockey, 2-0

BUFFALO, NY--Buffalo State (1-3) dropped the second game of a home-and-home series with Hobart (2-0), falling 2-0 tonight at the Geneva Recreation Complex.

The Statesmen scored two goals in the first eight minutes, including one with the man advantage, en route to their first shutout win of the season.

Both teams finished with 30 shots on goal. Kyle Gunn-Taylor (W. Seneca/Orchard Park) made 28 saves for the Bengals. Buffalo State was 0 for 7 on the power play.

Buffalo State opens SUNYAC play on Friday when the Bengals travel to Geneseo for 7 p.m. game.
