Incident On Campus Thursday Night; Suspect Sketch Available

At approximately 9:15 p.m. Thursday night, a female Buffalo State student reported to University Police that she was attacked from behind while walking between Caudell Hall and Bulger Communication Center. 

The attempted sexual assault, which occurred around 8:40 p.m., started when the suspect grabbed the victim from behind.  The victim was able to flee the suspect and declined medical attention. UPD is patrolling the area.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30-years-old, wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.  He has short brown hair and may have scarring on his face from acne.  If you have information about this incident or the suspect, please call University Police at (716) 878-6333.
