Laugh it Up with Colin Quinn
Looking for some comic relief? The College Humor Live Tour will provide it when top comics, including former Saturday Night Live star, Colin Quinn, take center stage at Buffalo State College’s 2007 Homecoming/Family Weekend, Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Buffalo State Sports Arena.
Quinn, who anchored SNL’s Weekend Update in the late 1990s, made his television debut as co-host of MTV’s hit game show Remote Control in 1987. Most recently, he hosted Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn on Comedy Central for three seasons.
The evening of humor, hosted by Dan Levy, will also feature special guests Dan Boulger and former Last Comic Standing contestants Chris Porter and Nikki Glaser, making for an evening of edgy, witty and interactive comedy.
The staff members at CollegeHumor.com, which launched in 1999, have established themselves as leaders in providing humor to the younger comedy-loving population, with nine million readers each month. CollegeHumor.com is now taking its show on the road with this laugh-filled event.
Tickets, which are on sale now, are $5 for Buffalo State students and $20 for the general public, and may be purchased by visiting the Rockwell Hall Box Office, calling (716) 878-3005 or clicking on www.ticketguys.com/buffalostate. Doors will open at 8 p.m., while show time is set for 9 p.m. The event is funded by the student activity fee and sponsored by United Students Government.
