Liberty Partnerships Program Sponsors New Youth Leadership Academy
Buffalo State’s Liberty Partnerships Program has joined with the Buffalo Public School System and the Erie County Chapter of “The Links, Incorporated” to provide new leadership opportunities for Western New York students.
Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students are encouraged to enroll in “Just Say Yes Network: Youth Empowerment for Success Leadership Institute,” a 12-week program designed to equip students with life skills and leadership training.
A committee composed of members from The Links and the Liberty Partnerships Program will select 45 students to participate in classroom instruction, hands-on workshops, and meetings with community leaders on the Buffalo State campus.
