Matt Urban Hope Center’s “Rags to Bags” project provides environmentally friendly, reusable t-shirt bags to low-income individuals and families to fill up with items from the center’s food pantry.

Interactive Synthesizer Orchestra presents ‘Rough Smooth Long Short: Music of the AACM’
Ciminelli Recital Hall
The Digital Music Production program at Buffalo State presents ROUGH SMOOTH LONG SHORT, played by the Interactive Synthesizer Orchestra. The program consists entirely of music composed by members of the AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians), a Chicago-based organization formed in the 1960s and devoted to nurturing, performing, and recording adventurous original music. Free and open to the public.

21st annual Student Research and Creativity Conference
Caudell Hall
The Student Research and Creativity Conference starts on Friday with an opening reception, followed by the conference on Saturday in Caudell Hall. The conference allows undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to present their preliminary or finished research in all academic areas. Presentations take many forms, including theatrical and musical performances, gallery exhibits, posters, talks, and demonstrations. View conference schedule and abstracts.
