Men's Basketball Bows to Oswego, 67-62
Buffalo State dropped its fourth consecutive game today, falling at SUNYAC-foe Oswego (12-1/4-1), 67-62.
After trailing 38-33 at halftime, Buffalo State evened the score early in the second period, but Oswego took the lead for good with 14:44 remaining. The Lakers never led by more than seven points en route to the five-point win. Buffalo State shot just seven percent (1-for-15) from three-point range and was only 57-percent (13-for-23) from the free throw line.
Aaron Carter (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) led the Bengals with 12 points. Gregg Jones (Syracuse/Nottingham) added 11 points, and Jon Allport-Cohoon (Jamestown/Lockport) had 10.
Buffalo State fell to 7-6 overall and 2-3 in SUNYAC. The Bengals will travel to the "North Country" next Friday and Saturday for a pair of conference games against Plattsburgh and Potsdam respectively.
