Men's Basketball Defeated at Plattsburgh, 74-69
Buffalo State's losing skid reached seven tonight with a 74-69 loss at Plattsburgh in a SUNYAC contest.
The Bengals trailed 31-26 at the intermission. The Cardinals extended their lead to as many as 14 points in the second half, before hanging on for the five-point win.
Gregg Jones (Syracuse/Nottingham) led the Bengals with 19 points and five boards. Jon Allport-Cohoon (Jamestown/Lockport) and Jeremy Konst (Williamsville/Williamsville East) each scored 12 points, and Jay Wingate (Henrietta/Rush-Henrietta) added 11 points.
Buffalo State slips to 7-8 overall and 2-5 in SUNYAC play. The Bengals will travel to Geneseo on Tuesday for an 8 p.m. start.
