Men's Basketball Edged by Potsdam, 50-49

Buffalo State dropped its fourth straight decision tonight at Potsdam, falling 50-49, dropping the Bengals to 9-7 overall and 3-5 in SUNYAC play.

Buffalo State held a narrow 23-22 lead at halftime, and had a chance to win in the closing seconds, but could not get a mid-range jumper to fall. The Bengals shot 35-percent from the field, and Potsdam made just 33-percent of its field goals.

Joshua Becker (Hamburg/Frontier) led the Bengals with 11 points, and Perry Davis (Buffalo/Seneca) added five points and 14 rebounds. Mike Miranto (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) and Justin Konst (Williamsville/Williamsville East) each scored eight points.

Buffalo State will complete its trip to the "North Country" tomorrow when it will visit Plattsburgh for a 4 p.m. tip-off.
