Men's Basketball Falls at Geneseo, 75-51
Buffalo State was defeated, 75-51, at Geneseo tonight.
The Knights stormed out of the gates to take a 6-0 lead over Buffalo State and never looked back. The Knights would carry the lead the entire game, leading 40-25 at the end of the first half.
Sophomore John Lawal (Hempstead/Uniondale) led the scoring for the Bengals, knocking down 10 points and grabbing three rebounds. Junior Jay Wingate (Henrietta/Rush-Henrietta) scored seven points while junior Gregg Jones (Syracuse/Nottingham) and senior Jeremy Konst (Williamsville/Williamsville East) each added six.
The Bengals drop to 7-9 overall with a 2-6 mark in SUNYAC play. The Bengals return to the Sports Arena Friday, Jan. 28 when they host Plattsburgh at 8 p.m.
