Buffalo State lost its first conference game of the season today at SUNYIT, falling 65-43 while shooting a dismal 25.8-percent from the field.

The Bengals trailed just 26-24 at halftime, before the Wildcats assembled a 27-4 run to open the second stanza and cruised to the 22-point victory. Justin Konst (Williamsville/Wil. East) was Buffalo State's leading scorer with just eight points. Four Bengals added six points.

Buffalo State fell to 3-2 overall and 2-1 in SUNYAC play. The Bengals will return to action on December 27 at the Marietta (OH) Holiday Shrine Tournament versus St. Norbert.
