BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (9-4/3-1) survived a desperation three-pointer at the buzzer, to outlast visiting New Paltz (4-8/1-3), 63-62, in a SUNYAC game tonight at the Sports Arena.

Buffalo State led by 12 points late in the opening half, but the Hawks closed the frame with a 7-0 run, ending the period trailing, 36-31.
