Men's basketball player Justin Konst (Williamsville/Williamsville East) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.

The junior guard scored a team-high 12 points as he helped the Bengals to the York Coaches vs. Cancer Classic with a 52-51 win over Chowan on Saturday. Konst hit the game-winning lay-up with 1:22 remaining.
