Men's Basketball Skid Continues at TCNJ
EWING, NJ--Buffalo State (3-5) dropped its third-consecutive game to cap a three games in four days road trip, falling at the College of New Jersey (4-6), 80-68, tonight at Packer Hall.
Santo LaMar (Buffalo/ Maryvale) and Mike Maloney (Buffalo/ Cheektowaga) led Buffalo State with 11 points each. Jamar Gray (Rochester/ Bishop Kearney) added 10 points, and Dion Mozelle (Rego Park/ Xaverian) had nine points and seven rebounds.
The Bengals only lead was at 8-7 early in the contest. TCNJ opened up an 11-point advantage late in the opening frame, before holding on to a 41-37 lead at the intermission. The Lions used a 10-0 run early in the second half to pull away. Buffalo State mounted a slight run to cut the deficit to 70-64 with 3:47 remaining, but TCNJ held on down the stretch.
Buffalo State will return to SUNYAC play at home on Friday against Potsdam at 8 p.m.
