Cortland (6-6, 3-3) scored four unanswered goals in the second period as the Red Dragons defeated Buffalo State, 7-3, tonight at the Ice Arena. The Bengals drop to 2-9-1 overall and 1-4-1 in conference play.

Sean Castagna (San Jose, CA/Ballarmine Prep), Greg Prybylski (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) and Sean Burke (Barrie, ONT/St. Peter’s) all scored for Buffalo State while sophomore Sean O’Connell (Buffalo/ St. Francis) added two assists.

The Bengals return to the ice tomorrow when they face Oswego at the Buffalo State Ice Arena at 7 p.m.
