Men's Hockey Falls to Oswego, 5-3
Oswego defeated Buffalo State, 5-3, tonight in a SUNYAC men's hockey game at the Buffalo State Ice Arena.
Oswego took a 2-0 lead into the first intermission, before Mike DeMarco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) got the Bengals on the board early in the second period. Oswego extended its led to 4-1, before the Bengals tallied a pair of goals in a san of 1:23, by Ryan Conroy (Carlsbad, CA/Carlsbad) and Sean Castagna (San Jose, CA/Ballarmine Prep). Oswego added an insurance goal in the third period, however, to ice the victory.
Buffalo State fell to 2-10-1 overall and 1-5-1 in SUNYAC play. The Bengals will return to action on January 7 at Lebanon Valley.
