Men’s Hockey Pushes Win Streak to Five, Blasts Johnson & Wales

NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI—Six different Bengals scored as Buffalo State (7-8-2) extended its winning-streak to five games with a 6-2 win over host Johnson & Wales (4-10) in a non-conference game tonight at the Rhode Island Sports Center.

Jeff Mok (Richmond Hill, ON), Paul Gagnon (Troy, MI), Joel Sheppard (Pefferlaw, ON), Shareef Labreche (Markham, ON) and Kerry Barchan (Oakville, ON) all had a goal and an assist. Nick Lynch (Depew, NY) also scored, and Nick Petriello (St. Catharines, ON) had three assists for the Bengals.

Buffalo State outshot the Wildcats, 45-22. Kyle Gunn-Taylor (W. Seneca, NY) made 20 saves in the win.

The same two teams will face off again tomorrow at 7:10 p.m.
