Men's Hockey Skates Past Brockport, 4-2

BUFFALO, NY--Greg Prybylski (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) and Mike DeMarco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) each had a goal and an assist as Buffalo State (4-4/2-2) defeated Brockport, 4-2, today at the Ice Arena.

Cody Cole (St. Catherines, ON/Denis Morris) finally opened the scoring 6:50 into the second period. Prybylski extended the Bengals' lead later in the frame with a power play tally.

DeMarco added another power play goal 6:52 into the third period pushing the Bengals lead to 3-0. After a Brockport goal midway through the period, freshman Richard Curtis (Ottsville, PA/Pennridge) beat a Golden Eagle defender one-on-one and tucked it past the goalie for his first collegiate goal. Brockport finished the scoring with just two seconds remaining.

Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) made 31 saves for Buffalo State, as the Bengals were outshot 33-21 for the game.

Buffalo State will travel to Fredonia Wednesday night for a 7 p.m. face-off.
