Men's Hockey Ties Cortland, 4-4
Junior Sean Burke's (Barrie,ON/St. Peter's) late third period goal with 3:21 remaining gave the Bengals a 4-4 tie at Cortland this evening.
Junior Greg Prybylski (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) scored the first two of the Bengals' goals. Sophomore Sean O'Connell (Buffalo/St. Francis) added one goal before Burke netted the tying goal. Sophomore Mike DeMarco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) tallied four helpers, while sophomore goaltender Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) made 36 saves in net.
The Bengals move to 5-16-3 overall and 1-9-3 in SUNYAC play. Buffalo State will wrap up its season tomorrow on the road at Oswego for a 7 p.m. faceoff.
