BUFFALO, NY—Josh Becker (Hamburg/Frontier) led four Bengals in double-figures with 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Buffalo State (12-9/6-7) past SUNYIT (12-10/6-7), 87-64, tonight at the Sports Arena

Buffalo State led by as many as 18 in the opening frame, and took a 41-28 lead into the intermission. The Bengals never let the Wildcats get any closer in the second half as they sprinted to the 23-point win.

Perry Davis (Buffalo/Seneca) scored 15 points and had eight rebounds and six assists for the Bengals. Jeremy Konst (Williamsville/Williamsville East) and Luis Pagan (Dunkirk/Dunkirk) each tallied 14 points in the win.

Nick Grimmer (New Hartford, NY) led SUNYIT with 16 points. Todd Wheaton (Gloversville, NY) added 13 points, and Rich Phillips (Yorktown, NY) chipped in 12 points and eight boards.

Buffalo State will host Geneseo on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
