Buffalo State scored a pair of goals in a 54-second span in the first half on route to a 2-0 victory at Elmira today.

Joe Watkins (Hamburg/Hamburg) opened the scoring at 22:03 of the first half with an unassisted tally. Rookie Josh Mitchell (Schenectady/South Colonie) found the back of the net at 22:57 to extend the Bengals' lead with an assist from Prisco Houndanon (Benin, West Africa).

Buffalo State improved to 2-0-1 and will travel to Nazareth on Wednesday.
